The Cities With the Coolest Nightlife (Part One)

There are many cities worldwide where the parties never stop, which are worth visiting in this lifetime. The most famous ones are the yachts of Saint-Tropez, the lively clubs of Ibiza, the casinos of Las Vegas – and many other places where the parties are unforgettable. Yet, there are also many other places worldwide that should not be overlooked. In this article, we go through the cities that harbor the most exciting parties!

Austin – Texas, USA

Keeping Austin Weird is a motto adopted by the Austin Independent Business Alliance to promote small businesses. In this case, it is definitely a slogan that works well: the city is home to many young bands of all kinds. Artists, techies, and businessmen go from one bar to another. The classic route is from Sixth Street west, peeking into culturally diverse bars and listening to live music on every corner.

Bali – Indonesia

Famous for its waves, Bali’s Kuta beach is a favorite spot, but there’s more to Bali. Exotically crowded streets, nightclubs, and beach parties with tourists and wild locals, this South Asian nightlife hub is loved by all. It’s a great place to be for a budget holiday: the bars focus on low prices.

Barcelona – Spain

If you’re looking for a fun and affordable getaway, Barcelona is the place for you. The Espit Chupitos bar specializes in extravagant cocktails like Harry Potter – all for €2. After an all-nighter in the clubs, relax on the beach, where other partygoers are still dancing in the sand.

Belgrade – Serbia

Belgrade is often ranked among the ten most lively cities in the world. The Serbian capital has the famous eclectic bar district of Skadarlija, and summer river clubs offer picnics in the middle of the Sava and Danube rivers.

Black Rock City – Nevada, USA

If you like large-scale parties, you’re probably familiar with the creative Burning Man festival. This festival is unique: in the middle of the Nevada desert, people dressed in extravagant outfits perform and spend time together for a week. The festival usually starts on the last Monday in August and ends in September.

Berlin – Germany

Berlin’s nightlife caters to all tastes, from underground techno clubs to the rock scene to alternative venues. There is a party in Berlin at any time – until the morning.

Copenhagen – Denmark

The Distortion Festival, described by Rolling Stone magazine as “the relentless, free party monster”, is a significant event in the Danish capital’s underground music and art scene. In June, it takes place four days and is unthinkable without the crowds in the streets, the live music, and the endless rivers of beer.

Dubai – UAE

Dubai is one of these cities that holds the best parties around the world. For instance, during the 2014 New Year’s Eve celebration, Dubai hosted the world’s largest fireworks display. Every New Year’s Eve, millions of tourists flock to Dubai to see fireworks displays across the city. In Meydan City, home to the racecourse and resort, the massive New Year’s Eve party lasts until the end of the next day.

Goa – India

Parties in Goa can last for days and nights, both on the streets and on the beaches. Palolem beach is one of the coolest places for electronic music. Goa is not only home to deafening techno sounds, it also has some of the best ‘quiet discos’ in the world.

Ibiza – Spain

The Mediterranean island is considered the world’s nightlife capital. In the south, in the town of Ibiza, and the west, in Sant Antoni, the night is just as noisy. World-famous DJs perform in the hottest clubs. The Privilege nightclub is the largest globally, and the Amnesia club is famous for its foam parties. It’s rare for the clubs to close at six in the morning – most are open until eight.

The above cities are among the best places to have the time of your life. Come check out the second part of the article for more!
